Sample Itinerary

Day One
Arrivals in San Miguel Allende
Your journey begins with arrival at the Lyon/Guanajuato airport. You'll be met by our representative. Transfer by private vehicle to our hotel Casa De La Noche.
Day Two
We explore the city
We start the day by exploring the central part of the city. We'll divide into interest groups to focus on people, culture and architecture. In the afternoons we set time aside for photography instruction and review of the days work.
Day Three
Working with models
After breakfast, we use the hotel ground to work with models in traditional Mexican dress. We will also set up a studio to photographic models made up in the traditional Catrina face, common during the Day of the Dead Celebrations.
Day Four
Church at Antotonilco. Wine at Cuna Del Tierra.
Today we venture a few miles out of town to Antotonilco, a beautiful church with stunning interiors. Afterwards we will visit the oldest winery in the region Cuna Del Tierra. There we will have lunch then practice our skills with food and wine photography.
Day Five
Traditional Mexican Culture in Guanajuato
We say good-bye to San Miguel Allende to spend a few days in the beautiful city of Guanajuato. After we arrive we will have a quick orientation to the city to scout locations for a photo assignment: Mariachi portraits. After as street lunch of handmade Gorditas, (another wonderful photo opportunity), we will divide into three groups to photograph our Mariachis. We'll take a break, then venture out to the Jardin to photograph people and architecture.
Day Six
Return flights
We say our good-byes and return to home with a renewed spirit.
