Your Greatest Adventure Starts Here…

…and takes you to a place where happiness is equal to holiness. A place that might very well leave you changed forever:

 Bhutan.

Set in the majestic Himalayas, the “Dragon Kingdom” of Bhutan is a pristine wonderland of rugged mountains, alpine streams, and dense forests that cover 72 percent of the country. Bhutan is snow-covered glaciated peaks and yak pastures, sacred sites and 17th century monasteries steeped in ancient Buddhist traditions.

And, as declared by the Fourth King of Bhutan, the country’s health is measured not by GNP, but GNH: the Gross National Happiness Index.

Whether you’re a photographer looking for the ultimate adventure, or just need to reset your spirit to GNH time, we invite you to experience the magic of Bhutan through our expertly curated photography tour. We offer outstanding photographic opportunities at every step of your journey, with an itinerary designed around your desire to take award-winning photos.

Sample Itinerary

Day One
Arrivals in Paro
Your journey begins with arrival at Paro. Transfer to the capital city of Thimphu.
Day Two
Where happiness equals holiness.
We start the day by visiting the Memorial Chorten, followed by a visit to the Great Buddha Dordenma. It is gigantic Shakyamuni Buddha statue in the mountains of Bhutan over looking the city of Thimphu.
Day Three
Dochula Pass
After breakfast, we embark to Punakha, in the interior of Bhutan with a stop at Dochula Pass, site of 108 Memorial Chortens. Afterwards we visit a local nunnery. Unlike the monasteries for men and boys that are beneficiaries of state or private support, nunneries in Bhutan receive no government funding.
Day Four
Punakha Dzong
Today we get early to photograph the magnificent Punakha Dzong. Set along the banks of the Mo Chuu River, it is the second largest Buddhist temple in Bhutan.
Day Five
Return to Thimphu
We return to Thimphu to photograph the grand Tshechu Festival. We photograph the pageantry of masked dancers as the twirl and dance to invoke deities. The mask dances depicting eight manifestations of Guru Rinpoche are performed by the monks.
Day Six
Return flights
We say our good-byes and return to home with a renewed spirit.
